Did my lender pass on the rate change?

RBI changed the repo rate. Check whether your home loan rate moved with it.

Add your balance to see the cost (optional)

This assumes your spread over the repo rate has not changed. A gap is a reason to ask, not proof of a mistake. Rates and dates are from RBI policy announcements.

Common questions

Should my rate fall when RBI cuts the repo rate?

If your loan is linked to the repo rate, yes, at the next reset date. Older MCLR or base rate loans move more slowly.

What do I do if my lender did not pass it on?

Write to the lender with your loan number and ask to switch to the repo-linked rate. The free letter is on our downloads page.
